Biography

This is Mahbuba Sarker Shama, Senior Lecturer of the Department of English at the World University of Bangladesh. I work as a reviewer in many prestigious UK and Indian journals. I have 9 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level as an expert on English Literature, specially on Postcolonialism, Marxism, Dalit Literature, African Liiterature, African-American Studies as well as Feminist approaches towards Literary texts. I have obtained magna cum laude award in both my grad and postgrad.

My  20 research journal articles (16 solo research journal articles and 4 collaborative academic articles) have got published in Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, USA, Nepal, Bulgaria, UK and Turkey. Research is a worship for me and it gives me immense wholesomeness while I delve into a text passionately.

In addition, I have presented papers at many national conferences in which I have won award as the best Presenter in Nazrul Conference. Furthermore, I have published many Poems, Newspaper editorials, Short Stories and Book Reviews at both national and international platforms.
