Professor Dr. Mohammad Arshad Ali
Professor Dr. M. Arshad Ali has to his credit a service career spreading over as long a period as nearly six decades in the academic arena contributing to its growth, expansion and management. After serving as Lecturer in English in Magura College and Principal, Pirganj College for a year, his role commenced with the founder principalship of Pangsa College, Rajbari that grew up, under his stewardship, to be the largest college at the Upazilla level in the whole of Bangladesh, elevating it to the status of a Master’s course offering college under the University of Dhaka.
As Inspector of Colleges of the University of Dhaka for eighteen long years he has rendered laudable service in quality assurance activities in the field of general, medical and engineering education by suggesting and recommending necessary measures for adoption in the colleges under the University of Dhaka.
