Biography
Sadia Tul Farzana is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of English at the World University of Bangladesh. She is committed to fostering a student-centered learning environment that goes beyond traditional teaching methods. Her research interests include psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, second language acquisition (SLA), and teaching pedagogy, with a focus on learnersβ motivation and other affective factors in English language learning across different contexts. She also presented her research at the International Conference on Envisioning the Future: Teaching Language and Literature (IIUC, 2023) and the BELTA-NSU International Conference (2024). Building her academic foundation, Farzana earned her BA in English Language and Literature with distinction from the International Islamic University Chittagong, followed by an MA in TESOL, also with distinction, from North South University. She then served as a Research Assistant at North South University until May 2025 and later she joined at Oxford International as a Senior School English Teacher. Overall, she is an optimistic and highly ambitious individual who envisions building an enlightened world grounded in respect, kindness, and equity.
