In the year 2024, the Department of English at the World University of Bangladesh had the pleasure of welcoming Anindya Sarker as a new Lecturer. He is a motivated and adaptable Lecturer in English, possessing over 3.5 years of teaching experience in literature, philosophy, English as a Second Language (ESL), cultural studies, and academic writing. He has considerable experience in curriculum development, learning technologies such as Moodle, academic research, and providing counseling at the university level. Additionally, he is actively involved in institutional development, accreditation efforts, and event coordination. His research interests encompass identity formation, diaspora studies, and pedagogy related to English Language Teaching (ELT). He also has extensive teaching experience in IELTS and GED.
Outside academia, Anindya Sarker is an aspiring poet (Poetry Book: SAME PAGE), digital content creator, and trained education counselor with experience in social media strategy and creative writing. His professional ethos reflects a balance of analytical scholarship, creative expression, and a deep commitment to student empowerment.
