Short Biography:

Humayra Akhter is a Lecturer and coordinator of the Department of English at World University of Bangladesh. She has been teaching here since 2017. Her research interests span between education, postcolonial studies and gender studies.  She holds a numerous interest in Theatre and Performance Studies as well. Writing poems is her passion. Her first Bengali poetry collection "Ichcher Dogai Shekol" was published from Hassan’s publication in April 2021. She loves trekking, travelling, theatre and gardening.
