Sarah Tabassum is currently working as a lecturer in the Department of English, WUB. She completed her SSc and HSC from foreign examination board when she had resided in Abu Dhabi, UAE. received her BA (Hons) and MA degree in English Literature from the University of Dhaka. Her exposure to working in multicultural environment has developed an inclination towards understanding the human psychology that is influenced by social and cultural conditions. She has taught in various the educational institutions at secondary level in Abu Dhabi,UAE. Her area of academic interest is in understanding productive relationship between the aesthetic Romantic age with the Victorian and Modern age as well as the transformation of human psychology through these ages. She has participated in cultural and social activities organized by associations in Abu Dhabi ,U.A.E . She has been an active member of Art of Living foundation. She is working on a research, related to Feminism and the marginalized Asian women and Ecocriticism. She has attended various workshops conducted by WUB related to IQAC and ATLEB (Association of Teachers of Literature in English Bangladesh). She was the one of the discussants in two webinars conducted by the English Department,WUB. Presented a research paper in an international conference in the field of English Literature at Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, Bangladesh. She has completed a certificate course of two months on Advanced Course on Research Methodology, 2019, Institute of Education and Research, University of Dhaka
