Biography

Humaira Bint Humayun joined as a Lecturer in the World University of Bangladesh (WUB) in June, 2026. She hold a Master's degree in English Literature from World University and completed her undergraduate studies at Uttara University.

With strong academic background in English Literature and language education, she is passionate about teaching, literary studies, and fostering critical and creative thinking among students, Her teaching interests including English literature, literary criticism, language studies, and effective communication.

Before joining the university, she gained professional experience as an English teacher and English Language instructor, where she taught English language and communication skills to learners of different levels. Her teaching experience has helped her develop a student-centered approach that encourages active participation, analytical thinking, confidence, and effective communication.

As a university lecturer, she is particularly interested in exploring literature through contemporary perspectives and encouraging students to engage critically with literary texts, ideas, and cultural contexts. She is also interested in academic research and aims to contribute to the field of English Literature through scholarly writing and research. Through teaching, research, and academic engagement, she seeks to contribute meaningfully to the intellectual development of her students and to the wider academic community.
