Biography
Md. Jobaar Talukder is a Bangladeshi academic, researcher, author, and translator currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of English at the World University of Bangladesh. Prior to joining WUB, he was a Lecturer in the Department of English at Sylhet International University. He completed his M.A. (Thesis) in English from the Islamic University, Bangladesh, graduating with Distinction and ranking first in his class. He is currently pursuing his doctoral studies in Medical Humanities.
His research interests include South Asian Literature, Medical Humanities, Comparative Literature, Children’s Literature, Bangladeshi Folktales, Environmental Humanities, and English Language Teaching (ELT). He has published 16 peer-reviewed research articles in national and international journals, including those indexed in Web of Science, DOAJ, and Crossref. He is also the author of eight books, including fiction, children's literature, folktales, and literary translations. His English translation of Al Mahmud's P?nkow?ir Rokto (Black Cormorant, Red Blood): With an Introduction has been accepted for publication by Jadavpur University Press. His academic and literary work reflects a commitment to interdisciplinary research, quality teaching, and the promotion of literary scholarship.
