Biography
I am currently working as a Lecturer in English at the World University of Bangladesh, where I teach undergraduate and graduate courses. I also worked for 1 year and 6 months at Metropolitan University, Sylhet. With over two years of teaching experience at the tertiary level, I strive to foster a research-oriented academic environment. My research interests include Ecocriticism, Environmental Humanities, Literary Pedagogy, and Cultural Studies. By integrating interdisciplinary approaches, I have published journal articles exploring various themes— such as the conjunctive and disjunctive relationships between humans and nature in literary texts, eco-centric literary pedagogy, and the portrayal of ecocide versus ecocritical aesthetics in contemporary cinema. I have also presented papers at international conferences organized by the University of Dhaka, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, and American International University–Bangladesh.
