Biography
I am currently working as a Lecturer in English at the World University of Bangladesh, where I teach undergraduate and graduate courses. My academic approach emphasizes critical thinking, interdisciplinary learning, and student-centered pedagogy.
With over two years of teaching experience at the tertiary level, I strive to foster a research- oriented academic environment. My research interests include Ecocriticism, Environmental Humanities, Literary Pedagogy, Film and Media Studies, and Developmental Education. Integrating interdisciplinary approaches, I have published journal articles exploring various themes—such as the conjunctive and disjunctive relationships between humans and nature in literary texts and Bengali folk songs, the implementation of eco-centric literary pedagogy, and the portrayal of ecocide versus ecocritical aesthetics in contemporary cinema.
I have also presented papers at international conferences organized by the University of Dhaka, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, and American International University–Bangladesh. I aspire to contribute to inclusive and dynamic academic environments through engaged teaching, impactful research, and collaborative scholarship.
